Kylah Buckle (North Port) - Girls 400m
The Florida 4A state champion this season at 400 meters with a 54.09 PR, Kylah Buckle comes to Golden South Series #2 knocking on the door of breaking 54 seconds and likely the intent and goal for Friday night. Currently ranked fifth fastest overall in the state of Florida as US #15 in the national rankings, the North Port junior Buckle has run 54 seconds in four races this season and has gone virtually undefeated with her only loss coming while competing unattached at the Coach Miami Invite against two of nation's best in Shawnti Jackson from North Carolina and last week's Golden South Series 400 meter winner Hannah Douglas of IMG.
