Jacquelyn Abanses (George Steinbrenner) - Girls Mile
The University of Nebraska signee will make another go at breaking 5 minutes in the mile after a strong close to her outdoor season at Steinbrenner running 5:02, 5:01, 5:04, 5:03 for her last four 1600 meter races as a district runner-up and 7th place finisher in a deep 4A girls state race. She also broke 11 minutes for the first time for 3200 meters at the FHSAA State Finals as well in a 10:58 PR.
