Watch: Samirah Moody Sprint Top US Marks At AAU Club Champs

At the AAU Club Championship Samirah Moody sprinted to one the nation's fastest times this season. In Florida, she won both the 100m and 200m, set a club national record and a personal best along the way. 

Her first final of the weekend was the 200m. 

She had an explosive block start which carried her through the finish line. She was able to hold off Taejha Badal who finished second to her. Moody crossed the finish line in 23.44 (-0.2).

Moody ran a 23.32 to win the Outdoor Nationals earlier this month, which puts her as the fourth fastest girl this year.

In the girls' 100m, Moody had a similar race execution.

She had a great block start, powered through her drive phase and crossed the finish line first.

Moody won this race by half a second. Moody raced to a personal best and a club national record of 11.48 (+0.5). She moved up the US rankings to No. 7 in this event.
