Madison Carr of Astronaut had an impressive cross country season from start to finish in her inaugural season in the sport as a freshman. Carr would finish no worse than fifth in her first race at the Mike Gibson Summertime Run and go on to win 6 races on the season as well as finish as a state runner-up in the 2A race with an 18:22 5K personal best time.
