Fort Meade sophomore Azaria Whitehurst remained dominant in the sprints this spring en route to winning more state titles in 1A including a pair of personal bests in Gainesville with clockings of 11.59 (wind-aided) in the 100 meter dash and 23.75 (wind-legal) in the 200 meter dash. Her only losses of the season came in the season opener at the St. Cloud Invitational then did not lose a race after that.
