Aliana Alvarez looks like she could run with the varsity girls in the state. The 9 year old who goes to Tavares Middle School and runs for the Red Sea Running Club runs with confidence, good form, good rhythm and at her young age seems to understand her pace. At the Florida Indoor Youth Championships she won the 9 Yr Old 800m with a 2:43.75 and the 1-Mile in 5:40.38. 5:15.16 1,500m converted. She is bright light in the future of girl's Florida distance running and a FUTURE STAR.
