IMG's 800m Girls are more than ready for the NBIN 4x800 and DMR. The girls previewed what we may see at the upcoming NBIN in the 4x800m Relay and the DMR. Their eyes are set on national championships, and when it comes to middle distance, they may have the best foursome in the country. Yesterday at the Spring Break Invitational, all eyes were on heat 2 of the girls' 800m. Here is how the IMG foursome that is slated to run in the 4x800 and the DMR ran:

1. Junior Aurora Bertelsen Del Solar    2:08.37

2. Junior Mackenzie Winning   2:08.60

3. Junior Danielle Graham   2:10.7

4. Sophomore Anyla Robinson   2:13.99

5. Sophomore Avila Jennings   2:16.67

If they had run the spits in a 4x800m Relay, they would have run 8:41.68. Of course, that's speculation. The Florida girls' 4x800m record is 8:49.73, held by an outstanding Dillard squad that ran the record in the 3A state finals last year.

The IMG girls hold the all-time Florida indoor record with an 8:55.47 that they ran in February at the 117th Millrose Games. The girls' US all-time indoor record is 8:48.02 by Cuthbertson High School from NC, run at the New Balance Nationals Indoor in 2023. Will they get a new national record?  Records are meant to be broken, and the girls are scheduled to run in the 4x800m Championship Relay this Thursday, the 13th, at 6:10 pm in Boston. The anticipation is high for this one!
