The FLYRA Middle School Track and Field Championships always produce great performances and excitement to finish the Middle School track and field season. This year, six new meet records were set at the Championships on May 16-17 in Bradenton on the IMG track.

Jewel Domingue, running for the Fast Lane Track Club, won four races at the FLYRA Middle School State Track and Field Championships. She set a new meet record in the Triple Jump, jumping 12.30 - 40-04.25, breaking the old record of 33-10.25 set by Adriana Diaz of the Fast Lane Track Club in 2014. She won the 100m in 11.81, the 200m in 24.21, and the Long Jump with a jump of 5.63m. A total of six new meet records were set.

On the track, two other records were broken. The girls' 4x100m Relay saw a new record from Supreme Performance Athletics. The young ladies ran a 46.78 to break the record set by Supreme Performance in 2023.

In the 800m, Alexandrea Fraser of FSG Athletics and Jade Walker, running unattached, both went below the old record of 2:15.58 set in 2019 by Cha'iel Johnson of the Miami Gardens Xpress Track Club.

The record fell in the boys' Discus, with James Hess throwing unattached, tossing the disc 55.64m--182-06.50. The old record was 174-4.25 set in 2023 by Charlie Perkins of Ruckel Middle School.
The meet records fell in both the boys' and girls' Pole Vault, as Kylee Brown, vaulting unattached, went 3.43m--11-03, and Max Georgiev, vaulting unattached, went 4.12m--13-06.25. The girl's record was 11-2, set in 2017 by Kai Eisenhardt of the Montverde Academy. The boys' record was 12-8.25, set in 2023 by Ezra Huber of the Florida Pole Vault Factory.
