Belen Jesuit's Nicholas Veloso is the top ranked sophomore at the beginning of the for the 2025 Cross Country season.  Velos was 49th with a 16:00.00 in the boys elite race at the New World Fall Spectacular last year.  In 2023, he won the FLYRA MS State Cross Country Private-Charter school title with a 9:36.90 in the 3000m.
