Collin Langston of the Hillsborough Harriers broke the middle school boys' 3K venue/meet record on Friday night in the middle school boys' race. Langston ran a 9:28.80, eclipsing the record of 9:30.32 set in 2022 by Marcelo Mantecon of Belen Jesuit. Langston took the lead with a little over 200m to go from Dominic Sadonis of the Pasco Panthers and held on for the win. Sadonis ran 9:33.40. Third place went to Navid Lozano of the Red Sea Running Club in 9:44.70.
