Brianna Motycka, running Unattached, was in the spotlight at the FLYRA Indoor Championships, winning the 3,000m, 800m, and 1 Mile. The 7th grader at Liberty Pines Academy, running in the 14-15 year old division, ran a Florida Middle School Indoor No. 2 all-time, current US No. 1 and US No. 6 all-time, 10:07.25 in the 3,000m. won the 800m in 2:23.82, and tripled back in the 1 Mile with a Florida No. 3 all-time and current US No. 3, 5:09.77.


Other Top FLYRA Girls Highlights

Javeyah Cohen (14-15) of the Tallahassee Speed Elite won the 200m in Florida No. 4 25.72 and doubled back with a with a Florida No. 3 win in the 60m with a 7.90.

Alexandrea Fraser of IMG Elite ran a Florida and US No. 1 time of 56.47 in the 400m.

Joline Gheesling of the VAST Track Club took the win in the 60mH with a Florida No. 3 performance 10.10.


Top FLYRA Boys Highlights

RJ Destremp of the Hillsborough Harriers ran a Florida No. 3 all-time indoor and current US No. 1 9:33.63 3,000m. In the same race, Joao Cardoso of NEXTRUN ran a Florida No. 10 all-time and a current US No. 7.

In the boys 14-15 Race, Gerard Ayala of NEXTRUN, just nipped Dominic Sadonis of the Pasco Panthers for the Florida No. 8 & 9 all-time indoor positions in the middle school boys 3,000m with runs of 9:50.54 and 9:50.77. They also move into the current US No. 5 & 6 spots. Jamin Dunham of the Vero Beach Track Club dipped under the 10min mark with a 9:57.59.

Shusei Ishizawa of the IMG Elite ran a Florida No. 1 23.68 in the boys 14-15 200m with Ricardo Samuels of the Charger Elite just behind him in 23.95 for Florida No. 2.

The Wind Runners went 1, 2, and 3 in the boys 14-15 800m running Florida No. 3-6. Ethan Rivard ran 2:09.05, Dylan Mirro 2:10.41, and Noah Lefko 2:10.75.

RJ Destremps doubled back, taking the 13-year-old 1 Mile with a Florida No. 3 time of 4:54.51, with Joao Cardoso taking second with a 4:48.50 and moving into the No. 8 spot in the rankings.

In the boys 14-15 1 Mile, Noah Lefko moved into the No. 1 spot in the Florida middle school rankings with a 4:50.62 and Dylan Mirro took over the Florida No. 2 ranking with a 4:54.19.

The boys' 60m saw Sushei Ishizawa of the IMG Elite move to No. 3 in the rankings with his second win of the day in the sprints with a 7.51, and Amieliken Siplin of the Tallahassee Speed Elite moved into the No. 7 spot with a 7.63.

In the 14-15 60mH, Jazier Murphy of the Westchase Cheetahs ran a Florida No. 1 8.67, Musah Matthews of VAST, a Florida No. 3 9.36, and  Ja'Quan Bentley Jr of Lake 'O Elite No. 7 with a 9.73.

The boys' 14-15 Long Jump was won by Ji'Aire Stephens of the Space Coast Striders with a Florida No. 1, No. 5 all-time and US No. 2 leap of 5.98m (19-7.50).

The 14-15 boys Shot Put saw Florida No. 1 and 2 marks. Eddy Melendez of Power House Athletics threw a Florida No. 1, Florida No. 1 all-time, and current US No.4 13.46m (44-02) and Antwon Scott of 813 Elite Track & Field threw 11.57m (37-11.50).
