Congratulations to sophomore Vanessa Waite of Lake Minneola HS, who was voted the MileSplit FL, Florida Girls Performer of the Week for (Mar. 2-7). The sophomore received 50.36% of your votes. Waite posted a pair of state-leading marks at the Hawks on the Hill Invitational

POLL: Florida Boys Performer of the Week (Mar. 2-7)

Here are the candidates for week four of the Florida outdoor season. 

Senior Janeya Jones of Miami Northwestern PR's in three events at the Ellis Elite 16 meet, including a Florida No. 1 (U.S. No. 11) 100m 11.40,  a Florida No. 1, wind-aided, 100m Hurdles 14.04,  and a 25.95 200 Meters. 

Senior Mikayla Shavers of Fleming Island HS had a state-leading Triple Jump of 12.57 (41-2.75) (U.S. No. 3) and a Florida No. 5 Long Jump of 18-6.75. Her marks were set at the Bolles Bulldog Classic.

Mikalyla Palmer of Spruce Creek HS jumped a state-leading 1.73m (5-8) in the High Jump at the George Janan Invitational at SCHSThe senior is tied for U.S. No. 8.

Junior Alba Antunez-Perez  of Spanish River HS ran a state-leading 10:31.00 in the 3200m at the Bolles Bulldog Classic.

Junior Alexis SUTTON  of Dillard ran a 14.05 +2.5 100m Hurdles PR of 14.05 for a Florida No. 2 ranking at the Ellis Elite 16.

Venice Senior Atarah Robinson continued her winning ways, running a Florida No. 1, U.S. No. 1, 4:50.23 1600m at the Larry Richardson Memorial Invitational.
