Congratulations to Arianna Woolcock of Everglades HS for being voted the Florida Girls Performer of the Week for the week of April 20-April 26. She swept both sprint events at FHSAA 3A District 15, clocking 23.74 in the 200 and 12.01 in the 100. The sophomore ranks #3 among her grade in Florida in both events.
Runner-up in the voting was Nyla Christian of Plantation HS. She posted dual victories at FHSAA 3A District 15, leaping 19-7.43 in the long jump and running 14.22 in the 100m hurdles.

This Week's Nominees:
Laiana Mcclinton, Largo HS (Florida): Swept both sprints at FHSAA 4A Region 3, clocking 11.42 in the 100 and 23.42 in the 200. Her 100 time was the fastest of the week among all classifications, while her 200 earned the second-fastest mark.
Akari Marshall, Benjamin School (Florida): Posted the week's fastest 200 time at 23.40 to win at FHSAA 1A Region 4. Also took the 100 in 11.57, completing a sprint double with the fourth-fastest time of the week in that event.
Hayden Higgins, East Lake HS (Florida): Dominated the field events at FHSAA 4A Region 3, winning three events including the 100m hurdles in 13.63. Her long jump of 19-10.19 and triple jump of 39-2.87 both earned victories as well. The junior leads all Florida underclassmen in both the hurdles and long jump.
Nakira Hudson, Montverde Academy (Florida): Turned in a 54.08 victory in the 400 at FHSAA 2A Region 2, the third-fastest time of the week. Also placed third in the 200 with a 23.94 clocking.
Jewel Domingue, American Heritage MS/HS (Boca Delray) (Florida): The freshman won two field events at FHSAA 2A Region 2, highlighted by a state-leading long jump of 20-2.13. She also captured the triple jump at 40-3.86 and placed third in the 100 at 11.87, leading all first-year athletes in Florida across all three events.
