The Road to Holloway Park
While the high school cross country season often grabs the headlines, some of the state's most exciting young talent will be racing at the middle school level this fall. The future of Florida distance running is preparing this summer with
one goal in mind: reaching the FLYRA State Cross Country Championships on October 30-31 at Holloway Park in Lakeland.
The middle school athletes race 3,000 meters (1.86 miles). The young harriers come from every corner of the state, representing some of Florida's premier youth running clubs, including Boca Warriors Track Club
