This Week's Nominees:
Katherine Eudaly, Plant: A 19:00.86 clocking over 5K was good for the win among 198 finishers at the 18th Annual Jim Ryun FCA Invitational, with 44.4 seconds separating first from second. The mark also stands No. 50 of 6,509 athletes in MileSplit's database at Holloway Park since 2019.
Arabella Duffell, Lake Nona HS: Covered the 5K distance in 17:53.00 to take the win at the Cecil Field Summer Classic, finishing 20.0 seconds clear of the field in a race of 340. That effort ranks No. 13 of 1,954 athletes in MileSplit's database at Cecil Field Golf Course since 2024.
Kayla Hawk, Parrish Community HS: Crossed the line first among 161 finishers at the Lemon Bay Invitational 2026, posting a 5K time of 20:01.92 that held off the field by 29.4 seconds. The result checks in at No. 19 of 937 athletes in MileSplit's database at Lemon Bay High School since 2019, and it improves her own mark on this course by 251.7 seconds, from 24:13.60 to 20:01.92.
Natalia Gaona-Zelaya, Wiregrass Ranch HS: Won the Ragin' Storm XC Challenge in 18:40.30 for 5K, finishing 31.0 seconds ahead of the next runner among 113 finishers. The time sits No. 6 of 1,576 athletes in MileSplit's database at Mary Help of Christian Academy since 2019 and comes 15.7 seconds faster than her prior mark on this course.
Piper Ross, Ponte Vedra HS: Took the win at the 15th Annual Spikes & Spurs Classic High School, completing the 5K in 19:39.70 and edging the runner-up by 12.9 seconds in a field of 154. The performance ranks No. 2 of 363 athletes in MileSplit's database at Flagler Palm Coast HS Track since 2024.
