Rishi Chopra of Nease HS leads the No. 2 overall and No. 1 4A-ranked boys' team in the State. Chopra is currently ranked 4th in the state with a 15:39.00. 16 boys have run sub:16:00 in the early season. The senior is off to a good start with a 4th-place finish at Cecil Field. He was 21st in the 4A FHSAA Cross Country State Finals in 2025.

Week three of the Florida High School Cross Country season has 14 meets scheduled for the weekend. As we head into week three, some teams and runners will open their 2026 seasons.
