Hampton University senior Kellie Wells (Richmond, Va./James River HS) has been selected to participate in the invitational section of the women\'s 60-meter hurdles at the 99 th Millrose Games, which will be held February 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. This is the second consecutive year that Wells has been extended an invitation to compete amongst a field that includes Olympian Gail Devers. Last year Wells placed fifth overall in the event.
An NCAA All-American a year ago, Wells has dominated the 60-meter hurdles again this season, placing first at all five of the meets in which she has participated. Last weekend she posted the second fastest collegiate time of the year with an 8.15 at the On Track Open hosted by Liberty University .
