Nease Standout Selects Gators

Nease standout Mac Reynolds has committed to the University of Florida. He admits the recruiting process was hectic at first, but after a while things settled down. He chose the Gators over Auburn. He says he knew early on that Gainesville was the place for him.

"The resources to become the best, the coaches especially coach Holloway, the team unity and the fact that everyone knew each other being from the state of Florida really sealed the deal. The campus is great and I really fit in quite easy I thought. It's one of those feeling when you know that this is the place for you."

Reynolds becomes part of a great distance class for the Gators that includes Ryan Schnulle of Charlotte and Elliot Clemente of Belen Jesuit.  He is honored to become part of this recruiting class and knows their is a bright future for those in the blue and orange. The Nease senior says he is looking forward to working hard under Coach Holloway and winning.

"That is what this program is about, capturing titles, and winning everything. I'm ready to be a part of that and contribute to the best of my abilities. My goals are to make it back to nationals with the team and really do well considering most of the guys have that experience now. I can't wait to be a part of such a great program. I can't wait to be a gator!
