Bullseye: USF Lands Gainesville Sprinter

Gainesville High School sprinter Kadeidra Jackson is glad the recruiting process is over. No longer does she have to tell her peers what school is she going to. Jackson, a multiple state finals qualifier, says she knows where she will be making the next step, and that is the University of South Florida.

"USF was one of the main schools I wanted to attend, and luckily it was my first offer. I loved the support they provide as far as tutoring, mentoring, and the coaches were really friendly.I also made a bond with some of the teammates quickly.USF seemed like a great atmosphere to be in. Im looking forward to a new beginning, I truly believe USF will make a better & stronger athlete."

Now that recruiting is in her rear view mirrron Jackson can focus on the upcoming 3A State Finals. Last she finished seventh in both the 100 and 200 and says she is pumped up for her final meet in the purple and white.

"I'm so pumped for the state meet this weekend. I'm looking forward to breaking the twelves and hitting an 11.9 or better in the hundred and breaking my two hundred PR of 24.75. I'm planning to take one of the top three spots. Also, my 4x1 team is ranked first. We plan to bring home a State Champion .
