Lakewood Ranch senior and reigning 3A 300mH state champion, James Rivera, is having a fantastic season this year. Rivera finished second at FSU relays in a new smoking PR of 14.12. This past weekend, Rivera traveled to the Golden State to race the 300mH at the Arcadia Invitational. Rivera did not leave empty handing, finishing second in a very strong field in a season best of 37.41. These two season bests put Rivera amongst the top 5 combo hurdlers in the state.
We took the season bests of athletes that have run both the 110mH and 300mH to see which athlete is the best combo hurdler in the state.
