Qualification Requirements for Teams and Individuals for the FL MS XC
CHAMPIONSHIP on Nov. 3rd in Lakeland, FL
Top 25% of Finishing Teams, and Top 10% of Finishing Individuals qualify. Teams
numbers will not be rounded up.
Determining which teams qualified for the FL MS champsionship meet: mixed club
teams will be taken out of the results and team results recalculated with only scholastic
teams. Top 25% of school based teams
Mixed Club Team: will be defined as a team of runners who go to different schools but
have come together to form a team
Scholastic Team: all the runners on the team go to the same school. (Private, public,
charter, or homeschool) They can run under their school name or they can use another
name. We allow a name change because some county school districts do not allow teams
to use the school name outside of the county.
Individual Qualifiers: Top 10% of finishers will be considered qualified regardless of
team affiliation. Initial results will be used.
