Varsity Individuals: 1st Place trophy, 2nd 20th medals
JV individuals: 1-20 medals
Schedule: 6:30 a.m. BCC and course opens to teams
7:30 am: Coaches Meeting
8:00 am: Varsity Girls race
8:40 am: Varsity Boys race
9:10 am: JV Girls race
9:50 am: JV Boys race
10:20 a.m. Youth race (6-8th grade)
Entry Fee: $100.00 per school (B&G) or 60.00 for Girls or Boys team
Entry Deadline with payment is Monday, Sept. 2nd
Make Checks payable to: Astronaut High School
Parking: All cars parking at BCC will be charged $5.00 per car. Per agreement with Brevard Community College, no team buses, vans and cars allowed on the BCC
campus. This includes NO dropping off of runners. All team vehicles must park at the Chain of Lakes.
BCC parking is for spectators only.
Course: 5K course, flat and fast, mostly grass with exception of metal bridge crossings. Short spikes are
recommended.
Meet T-shirts will be on sale.
Restrooms within the Park and race site.

Wavier: In consideration of my entry being accepted, I intend to be legally bound and do hereby, for myself, my heirs and executors, waive and release all rights and claims for damages which may he
rein after accrue against Astronaut High School, Brevard Community College, Sunshine Rotary, meet sponsors, meet management, race officials and Brevard County Schools and members of the Florida Coaches Association and the FHSAA, for damages which may be sustained and suffered by my named child in consideration for entry in the Youth 1 mile Cross Country race. I also waive and release all claims or liabilities of any kind arising
out of my participation in the Youth 1 mile Cross Country run that liability in this type of event, against the above named persons in
the wavier. If my child shall suffer illness or injury, I authorize officials of the race to use their discretion to have him/her transported to a medical facility and I take full responsibility for their action. I attest and verify that my child is fit and in good health to complete this event I have read the above release and I (parent) am entering my child in this event at my own risk.

For teams and spectators coming to the Astronaut Rotary Invitational on September 7th. Due to our contract with BCC, team buses and vans are not allowed to enter the BCC campus. This is includes to drop off runners.
All team buses and vans are to enter at the NEW entrance to the Chain of Lakes Facility which is closer to BCC than in the past. Approximately 1/2 north of the campus. All buses and team vans will be directed to the new entrance north of the campus.
There will be a charge of $5.00 per car for ALL cars parking at BCC. Regardless of whether you are carrying runners or you are a spectator. You will need to stop and pay as you enter the campus.
The facility, BCC and Chain of Lakes opens at 6:30 a.m.
