The Land O Lakes HS Cross Country program invites you and your teams to the 2014 Gator Invitational on Saturday, October 4, at Crews Lake Park. The park is located in north central Pasco County.

Course Description: The 5K course will begin and end in the athletic field in the center of the park and will be run in a clockwise direction. It will feature paved roads and paved bike path, sand, grass and mulched trails. The two loop course will be fun and challenging. Course rating of 1-5 for quickness: 3. There will be a time clock at the 1 MILE MARK ( approximately 2.5 mile mark on 2nd loop).

Course Preview: The 5K course can be previewed by calling Coach Keppel for preview arrangements or at 7:15am on race day.
Parking: There will be a $2 Pasco County Parks parking fee. Cars will be able to park at Shelter #1 and lots close to the athletic field. Buses will be directed to a separate parking lot beyond Shelter #1, see course map. Athletes and coaches can be dropped off at shelter #1 parking lot.
Race Times: Coaches Meeting - 7:40am (Shelter #1) JV Girls - 9:05am
Varsity Girls - 8am JV Boys - 9:40am
Varsity Boys - 8:35 Awards - 10:20am
Size of Meet: Limited to the 30 Teams. See the list below for schools attending.
Entry Fee: $80 per school or $45 per team, JV teams run free if varsity competes. Make check payable to Land O Lakes High School, 20325 Gator Lane, Land O Lakes, FL 34638.
Payment: Entry check due by Monday, September 8. Mail to Kris Keppel, LOLHS, 20325 Gator Lane, Land O Lakes, FL, 34639. If your school name appears on Flrunners.com Forum - Gator Invite post, then your reservation has been confirmed.
Meet Contracts will be mailed to your Athletic Director at your school by May 30, 2014.
Online Entries: Look for Gator Invitational listed on Flrunners.com on Oct. 4. Click the green ONLINE ENTRY button.

Entries must be added by Monday, Sept. 29,11:59pm. Registration opens August 1.
Timing & Results: Elite Timing will score the meet and will post results on Flrunners.com. and Elitetiming.net. Bib numbers and chips will be provided. Results will be posted on the columns on Shelter #1.
Finishing Instructions: Every team must provide ONE ADULT at the finish line in case one of your athletes needs assistance.
Refreshments: will be available to all participating runners and coaches.
Awards: Varsity- Top 10 runners will receive a Gator Invitational Top 10 t-shirt, 11-25 will receive medals. Varsity Trophies- Top Three Teams JV- Top 15 Individuals will receive medals. JV Trophy- 1st Place
Gator Invitational T-Shirts: There will be a variety of colors and styles. School Names will appear on back of shirts. To guarantee your shirt sizes and quantities for you or your athletes call in your order to Coach Keppel at 813-996-2824, on or before Monday, Sept. 22. Coaches discount price is $10- must be preordered.
