Deadline is Tuesday, September 2nd. Remember Monday is Labor day!
Timing and scoring by Elite Timing.
Awards: Varsity Team: 1st and 2nd Place
Varsity Individuals: 1st Place trophy, 2nd 20th medals
JV individuals: 1-20 medals
Schedule: 6:30 a.m. EFSC and course opens to teams
7:30 am: Coaches Meeting
8:00 am: Varsity Girls race
8:40 am: Varsity Boys race
9:10 am: JV Girls race
9:50 am: JV Boys race
10:20 a.m. Youth race (6-8th grade)
Entry Fee: $100.00 per school (B&G) or 60.00 for Girls or Boys team
Entry Deadline with payment is Monday, Sept. 2nd
Make Checks payable to: Astronaut High School
Parking: Per agreement with Eastern Florida State College, no team buses, vans and cars allowed on the campus.
This includes NO dropping off of runners. All team vehicles must park at the Chain of Lakes.
New Entrance to the Chain of Lakes;
All Teams Vans, Buses and cars carrying runners.
Turn right from U.S. 1 North bound side on to Truman Scarborough Way, follow the road into the
park.
EFSC parking is for spectators only.
All spectators are to use the south entrance to EFSC , by Parish Hospital.
Enter from U.S. 1 on to Oak Grove Road. Hospital is on the right ( East side).
Parking is on the south side of the Gym. Parking is 5.00 per car. All cars
entering EFSC Must pay.
Course: 5K course, flat and fast, mostly grass with exception of metal bridge crossings. Short spikes are
recommended.
Meet T-shirts will be on sale.
Restrooms within the Park and race site.
Also the site for the 2A Region 4 meet in November.

Wavier: In consideration of this entry being accepted, I intend to be legally bound and do hereby, for myself, my heirs and executors, waive and release all rights and claims for damages which may hereinafter accrue against Astronaut High School, Eastern Florida State College (EFSC), meet sponsors, meet management, race officials and Brevard County Schools and members of the Florida Coaches Association and the FHSAA, for damages which may be sustained and suffered by my child in consideration for entry in the Youth 2 mile Cross Country race. I also waive and release all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my childs participation in the Youth 2 mile Cross Country run that liability in this type of event, against the above named persons inthe wavier. If my child shall suffer illness or injury, I authorize officials of the race to use their discretion to have him/her transported to a medical facility and I take full responsibility for their action. I attest and verify that my child is fit and in good health to complete this event I have read the above release and I (parent/guardian) am entering my child in this event at my own risk.
