Flagler Palm Coast High School invites you to attend the 5-Star Conference Cross Country Championships on Thursday, October 15th. Coach Dave Halliday will serve as meet director. Chip Timing by Half-Mile Timing for all races. Great awards and a fun course on around the Flagler County Fairgrounds, with a mile wooded trail and finishing inside the Flagler Country Rodeo Arena!

The 5-Star Conference Championships will be hosted in the morning to diminish chances of heat-related illness for all student-athletes participating in the event. The meet will consist of four High School Races (girls and boys varsity as well as girls and boys JV). The varsity races are allowed to run 7 runners, while the JV races are UNLIMITED. This meet will be sanctioned by the FHSAA.

$85 Per High School(to partially cover chip timing and ribbons for JV and 1st/2nd/3rd Team All-Conference)

Packet Pick-Up:
Packet pick up will start when the course opens Thursday at 6 am. Coaches must pay by mail to Flagler Palm Coast HS or have checks in hand to pick up their packets. Coaches please make sure you get your packets 30 minutes before your race to ensure enough time to get the timing chips signed out and onto your runners shoes.
Online Entry:
Registration will be on www.flrunners.com. Registration will end Monday, October 12th at midnight. High Schools please enter your entire roster not just your Varsity runners.
Timing:
Half-Mile Timing will be using the chip timing system. There will be instant results scrolling on the finish line display board. Chipped timed race results will be at: www.halfmiletiming.com
AWARDS:
Team Awards: Provided by 5-Star Conference
Individual Awards: Provided by 5-Star Conference and FPC
Varsity: Top-24 ribbons (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Team All-Conference)
JV: Top-10 finishers
Course:
The course is 90% is on nice grass trails or dirt and gravel roads around the Flagler County Fairgrounds and finishes inside the Flagler County Rodeo. The course will be marked with mile markers as well as kilometer markers. The Course has been the host site of the 5-Star Conference Meet and the 4A-District-1 Meet.

Event shirts will be on sale onsite for $15.00
Parking:
There will be a $5.00 PER PERSON charge for spectators. Coaches please make sure your parents are aware of this!
