The meet is on. Course was in great condition overall as of 6:00 p.m. There is only one section with standing water and that is on the sidewalk down 51st St W but athletes may run on the grass on either side of the sidewalk if they wish, but cannot run in the road.
Please check your assigned starting boxes below.
When deciding which of your athletes will run Varsity vs. JV, please note that we are going to stick to the time schedule posted below so please adhere to the following guidelines.
-Elite Varsity Girls: finish time cut off of 26:00
-Elite Varsity Boys: finish time cut off of 21:00
-Invitational Varsity Girls: finish time cut off of 30:00
-Invitational Varsity Boys: finish time cut off of 25:00
-Please run your athletes who will finish after these times in the JV races.
This is for their safety! We are starting the races at the times indicated on the schedule below and the slower finishers will be running the opposite direction of the starting races for the last 0.75 miles of the course. This will create major issues for those slower runners trying to finish as they will be running against the mass of the next race that has started and potentially be run off the course by the masses. Our trails are not very wide so we ask that you follow these guidelines for the safety of all athletes.
SCHEDULE:
7:00 a.m. - coaches' meeting
8:00 a.m. - Elite Varsity Girls race (7 runners max. per team)
8:10 a.m. - Elite Varsity Boys must report to start line as the bridge from the finish area to the start area will be closed for the girls elite race. Restrooms and warm up area near soccer fields start line.
8:25 a.m. - Elite Varsity Boys race (7 runners max. per team)
8:30 a.m. - Invitational Varsity Girls must report to start line as the bridge from the finish area to the start area will be closed for the boys elite race. Restrooms and warm up area near soccer fields start line.
8:45 a.m. - Invitational Varsity Girls race (7 runners max. per team)
9:15 a.m. - Invitational Varsity Boys race (7 runners max. per team)
9:40 a.m. - JV girls (unlimited runners)
10:15 a.m. - JV boys (unlimited runners)
10:45 a.m. - awards will be done in the same order as the races were run, starting with Elite Varsity Girls
*** PLEASE NOTE: The bridge to get from the amphitheater/finish area to the starting line is narrow and will be shut down to all athletes and spectators to allow the previous race's runners to finish without anyone in their way. The bridge is only wide enough for two people. Please inform your athletes, coaches, parents, and spectators that they must clear the bridge by the times indicated above if they do wish to watch the start of the next race. This is a very tight window of time for the Elite races then it widens for the later races. Our volunteers will be instructed to NOT allow anyone over the bridge if they will potentially interfere with the finishing runners so please get your teams to the start area early. They will be able to warm up on the soccer fields and use the larger, nicer restrooms by the soccer fields as well. ***
HOW TO ENTER:
Please send in your entry fee to secure your spot in the meet. All teams who have paid will be allowed to participate. No race day payments. Please make sure all payments are received BEFORE race day. There are no refunds if meet is postponed or cancelled due to weather. If you enter athletes, you will be billed for the entry fee, regardless of participation. Thank you.

Bus parking: Colonial Baptist Church, 2616 51st St W, Bradenton, FL 34209 or in the main entrance at GT Bray Park at 51st St W & 33rd Ave Dr W. There will be no bus parking or drop offs or turning around at the 51st Street Park (dog park, amphitheater, & finish area) entrance.
Car parking: main GT Bray Park parking lots near soccer fields and restrooms. Intersection of 33rd Ave Dr W and 51st St W.
Team tent area is in the grass behind the amphitheater or in the pavilions. Teams may NOT set up in the amphitheater, amphitheater seating area, or on the soccer fields.
AWARDS:
Backpacks to top 7 girls and boys on winning varsity teams (elite & invitational). Trophies to top 2 varsity teams in each race and top 2 JV teams. Individual awards to top 20 varsity and top 10 JV. Door prizes too!
