Meet Information

Thank you for once again joining us this year in our Annual Leon County Schools Varsity Kick-off 2017 Meet.

We welcome all teams. This meet is not limited to just Leon County Schools. Again, all schools of all divisions are welcomed to attend this meet.

Meet Information

Team Entry Fee:
$75 for one gender team: $100 for both Boys and Girls teams.

General Admission:
$5 (event bands must remain worn on wrists at all times)

Free Parking

First, Second, and Third Place Medals awarded per event.

Final entry date is Monday, Feb. 11th by 11:59 a.m. via online registration only. Note limit 6 athletes per event.

Coaches Meeting:
begins at 2:50 p.m. Location 50 yard line of the football field.

Note: Luck of the draw lane/heat assignments is our usual standard at a beginning of the season meet.

FHSAA Competition Rules.


Meet will be managed by The Panhandle Track & Field Officials Association, INC.
Due to the large number of participants allowed to compete the games committee of JSRHS will be marking first attempts in Discus, Shot, Long Jump, and Triple Jump Events and only those meeting the qualifying mark thereafter. This will help move the meet along and keep it competitive.

Long Jump -Girls 15 feet Boys: 18 feet qualifying mark
Triple Jump- Girls 28 feet Boys 36 feet qualifying mark
Discus- Girls 75 feet Boys 100 feet qualifying mark
Shot Put- Girls 25 feet Boys 35 feet qualifying mark

Girls and then Boys- Standard Track & Field order with
the exception of the Pole vault.

Starting Heights:
High Jump: No Boys or Girls HJ at this event.

Limit 5 athletes per any one event.

Athletes are not allowed on the football field during Meet.

2:25 p.m. Implement weigh-ins (Side of concession stand)

3:00 p.m. Coaches Meeting @ center of FB field

3:15 p.m. Pole Vault Event begins.

PRESENTATION OF COLORS CEREMONY PROMPTLY @ 3:45 PM JSRHS ROTC

4:00 p.m. All other field events and G/B 4 X 800 will begin.

5:45 - 8:30 p.m. All Hurdles, dashes, runs, and relays.

Note: Team staging areas will be pre-assigned. Please review all current rule changes that are in effect for the 2015 season. We look forward to a very competitive sportsmanship filled competition.
