Tyrese Cooper made even more history when he broke the Bob Hayes meet record of 20.63 set in 2014 by UGA standout Kendal Williams. His time of 20.55 is a wind legal PR for "Smoke" and a new sophomore class national record as well beating that of newly turned Adidas professional Noah Lyles who clocked a time of 20.71 back in 2014.
In his first Bob Hayes Invitational ever, then freshman Tyrese Cooper broke the meet record of 46.61 set by Olympic gold medalist Arman Hall in 2011.
