2018 Embry-Riddle Challenge

Facilities:The Embry-Riddletrack is a 400m Mondo Super X performance track with 8 lanes.All field events will be contested on theinfield of the track facility.
Spikes:Pyramid & X'masTree spikes of " (6mm) or smaller are allowed.No pin or needle spikes.
Eligibility:This meet is open to the public.
EntryDeadline:The entry deadlinefor all entries is January 17, 2018.Entries should be submitted on Direct Athletics. Late entries will not beaccepted.No additions may be made afterthis date - scratches only.
Entry Fee:The entry fee willbe $325 per team (with 12 or more participants) per gender
($650 for both teams).Make checks payable to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.The entry fee is due at the time of packetpick-up.The entry fee for individualsparticipating will be $25.
Entry Limitations:There is no limit onentries for this meet.
PerformanceA performance listand heat sheets will be available for viewing on-line by
List:January 19,2018.
Heats/All running eventswill be run as heats against time.Inall field events, athletes
Flights:will have threepreliminary attempts with nine athletes advancing to finals for an additional 3attempts. Note in the throws athletes who throw lighter implements will not beallowed to advance to finals over someone throwing the collegiate weights.
Event Athletes mustcheck-in with the clerk of the course 20 minutes prior to the start
Check-In:their event.Field events will check in at eventlocations.
StartingThe starting heightwill be determined by the meet officials once all
Heights:entries are turnedin.
Timing:We will be using aFinishLynx scoring system in all races.

Food:Food services areavailable on campus, at the concession stand or at several restaurants locatedwithin a few miles of the campus.
