3K Manatee County Middle School XC Meet is for the 10 Manatee County public middle schools only:  Braden River, Buffalo Creek, Haile, Jain, Johnson, King, Lee, Nolan, Palm View, and Sugg.

3K = 3,000 meters = 1.86 miles

Coaches and/or ADs: If this is your first time ever registering online you must go to your team page first and claim your team. This process can take 2-3 days to get approved!You have to wait for the webmaster to approve you. Once approved or if you have done this in past years, go to your team page to edit your roster. When adding athletes please use full names (no nicknames) and grad year is required.

2019-2020 Grad years are:

2024 - 8th grade

2025 - 7th grade

2026 - 6th grade

* If athletes are no longer on the team, click the box next to their name then either click "remove from xc" or "move to inactive" but never delete athletes. *

ENTRIES:

Entries are due by 11:00 p.m. on 10/2/19. Please double check that ALL of your athletes are entered in the meet. Please enter all athletes who may run.  No late entries.

Team entry fee: each school pays a one time entry fee of $100 which covers both Oct. 5 and Oct. 19 meets.

All teams must be paid in full in order to pick up team packet on race day OR have contacted Rae Ann about payment status.

OFFICIALS, TIMING, AND CHIPS:

We will have an FHSAA official and starter at both meets.  Please note:  athletes who are paced by a coach, teammate, or relative running along side them pacing them will be disqualified.  

Please remember that all timing chips must be returned before you leave the meet so your school does not get charged $25 per chip to replace them.

Athletes are only allowed to cross finish line once.  Please keep them away from finish mats once they have finished so their chips do not get read a second time.



SCHEDULE:

8:40 a.m. - walk through part of course

8:45 a.m. - brief coaches meeting at finish line with our timer, Mike Hill

9:30 a.m. - girls' race

9:45 a.m. - boys' race
