North Lake Intramural Track Meet (hosted by Tavares Middle School)
Where: Tavares High School, Wednesday, April 28th, 2021
Teams: Tavares Middle School, Mount Dora Middle School, Oak Park Middle School

Timing: Electronic timing by Athletic Scoring Providers, Dan Epstein, meet official
Running Events: 4x800, 100m, 1500m, 4x100m, 400m, 800m, 200m, 3000m, 4x400m
Field Events: Shot put, discus, long jump, high jump
*Boys & Girls will both throw 1K discus, boys will throw 4K shot, girls will throw 6lb shot*
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Notes:
1. Girls will run an event first, then boys
2. We will not use blocks for any events
3. No hurdles, triple jump, or javelin
4. Heats will be based on seed times; fastest heats will be final heats (Coaches please be as accurate as possible to the 1/10th of a second to help us have more even, fair, fun heats)
5. There are no finals- all heats will be timed and the top 8 times from the combined heats will score points
6. Teams need to bring their own batons for the relay races and will be required to hand off the batons in the exchange zones; teams need to bring their own shot put and discus for field events
7. Individual athletes can participate in no more than THREE total events, which includes and combination of relays and field events.
a. Example A- 100m, 200m, 400m
b. Example B- Long jump, 100m, shot put
c. Example C- 800m, 4x800m, discus
8. A school does NOT have to fill their allotted spots (Example: Tavares can enter 6 runners into 100m, but decides only to enter 4.)
9. Field events (with the exception of high jump) will be limited to 3 attempts. This includes scratches and attempts that do not meet rule or minimum standards
10. The 800m will also act as a consolation race which will allow an unlimited number of athletes so that everyone on your team has an opportunity to take part in the track meet

1. 4x800m relay (4pm)
2. 100m
3. 1500m
4. 4x100m relay
5. 400m
6. 800m (unlimited entries)
7. 200m
8. 3000m
9. 4x400m relay
