Please join us once again for this year's West Orange Invitational. A meet that brings some of the best talent throughoutall of Florida and the Central Florida area!

UPDATED AS OF 9-10-2020

Meet has been changed to Wednesday, September 16th.

Only high school teams from the following counties may compete: Lake, Seminole, Orange, Polk, Osceola, and Volusia.

ENTRY FEES:

$125 per school for both genders

$75 dollars per gender

No spectator fee this year per District but donations from parents are very much appreciated at the gate! Please let your parents know coaches!

Course change:

This year has a course change! The start of the race will be different. In years past, the start has been very narrow. I have changed it to where that is no longer a problem! Schools that have ran here in the past will be very excited for this change. This change is going to make this years West Orange Invitational even better!

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

Please try to send entry fee ahead of time. Checks will be accepted at check in, but no packets will be given out if payment isn't received ahead of time or check is brought with the coach. NO EXCEPTIONS

RACE SCHEDULE:

5:30pm Coaches meeting behind timers tent

5:45pm Girls and Boys JV

6:10pm Girls Varsity

6:35pm Boys Varsity

Only 10 runners in the Varsity race coaches!! Depending on the number of entries in JV race, I may combine them with the varsity races. I will know after registration closes. If I combine the JV with Varsity, we will follow the Varsity racing schedule

TENT AREA/ WARM UP AREA

Teams may set up in the middle of the bus loop.Coaches, Please make sure your athletes keep there tents at a good distance from other team tents. Warm up's may be done on the course, but as soon as the first race shoots off, the course will be shut down for warm up's. Our new rubber track will be open for warm up throughout the whole morning

PARKING/ ENTRANCE:

Buses will enter the bus loop and drop off athlete's. Buses must leave and return when meet is over

Parking for spectators will either park on the main campus (Off Warrior Rd) or in the student parking lot (Off Beulah Rd). They will then need to proceed to the entrance that is located behind the football stadium

Parking for handicap spectators will be available in the gravel lot behind the finish line shoot. They will need to enter through the bus loop entrance

*NO parents are able to drop there son/daughter off in the bus loop. Only buses are allowed to drop off in bus loop. This is for safety concerns

AWARDS:

Team Champion and Runner-up trophies awarded to each gender

Varsity Individuals: 1st-3rd place will receive medals, 4th-15th place will receive ribbons

JV: Individuals: 1st--10th place will receive ribbons

DJ:

Will have a DJ on set once again this year!

Looking forward to a great Invitational once again! The course is very flat and is all grass. We have had some very fast times throughout the year and want to continue that. Course has been GPS mapped

T-Shirts: We Will have WEST ORANGE INVITATIONAL shirts for sale. Let athletes and parents know coaches

COVID-19- Parents are required to wear a mask this year. A trainer will be available but for emergencies only. When athletes finish, they should report back to there team tent. Athletes will need to bring there own water this year. I don't want athletes crowding around trying to get water while out of breath
