41st Annual Fort Myers High XC Invitational, hosted by FMHS, created by former Fort Myers XC coach Hoppy Hoptar.
We are very excited to announce we will be racing under the lights again at Kelley Rd Soccer Complex. Course is all grass arranged as a standard double looper. Additional lighting has been added on bunny trail based on feedback from 2019 edition.
Please notice parking map and team tent area maps. Give this information to your parents and bus drivers as well.

Buses: drop off at main parking lot and park at Stokes Marine - 15955 Pine Ridge Rd, FM 33908
Parents: please drop off athletes at main pavilion and then continue to drive out of the facility. At this time spectators are not allowed at any Lee County sporting events.

Meet Cost: Girls high school $125, Boys high school $125, and middle school aged clubs $50. Individual $5 each. Parking is free of charge.

Middle School Aged Runners (cancelled for 2020 version)
6:05pm JV limited to 6 athletes/school- those 6 can be divided any way 5 girls/1 boy - 3 girls/3 boys. Starting in waves( under 20min, under 24 min, remaining) Athletes will be timed by coach.
6:45pm Girls (up to 10 girls; wave starts with teams)- athletes not able to complete the 5k course in under 40 minutes will not get a finish time.
7:30pm Boys (up to 10 boys; waves starts with teams)- athletes not able to complete the 5k course in under 40 minutes will not get a finish time.
Reward Ceremony (eliminated for 2020 version, coaches will be asked to grab bag from concession stand after results have been compiled)
Waves will be created. (Coaches can email YanceyYP@leeschools.net with wave requests). Each wave will consist of 10 schools (having 100 runners per wave). Each wave will start exactly 60 seconds after previous wave, the timing company will subtract your wave start from your finish time, and compile those results. You can see those results on elitetiming.net. Although this is not ideal, we are happy to be racing and very excited to be participating in cross country. Athletes in second and third waves, may end up passing slower runners in waves 1 or 2. We are aware this is not ideal, but again, happy to be competing in the sport we love. Coaches, please explain to your athletes, they are expected to wear masks when not running, and physical distancing is expected at all times. Also explain, if your runner is being passed by a faster runner please be courteous and allow them to pass freely.
