2020 Meet Information

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2020

Time:         College Men (8K) 7:30 a.m.

                   College Women (5K) 8:00 a.m.

                   High School Girls 8:25 a.m.

                   High School Boys 8:50 a.m.

                  JV Boys 9:15 a.m.

                  JV Girls 9:45 a.m.

Location: The meet will be held on the athletic fields of Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Course         The course is one of the most challenging in the state of Florida. It is a true cross-country course

Description  including all types of terrains, well-groomed athletic fields, a 150-meter grass hill, mulch trails and a

                      small section of concrete.

Teams:            College teams will be unlimited in their entries. High School varsity races will be limited to 10                         runners per team and to the first 25 teams. The JV races will be limited to the first 180 total entries.                         Top-5 will score with seven holding spaces.
Individuals: Unattached individuals will be allowed to compete in the college races. Schools may enter individuals

                    in any race in which they are eligible and do not have a full team.

Awards:       Team trophies to the top-3 teams.  Championship t-shirts given to the top-15 runners in each race.

Divisions:    There will be one High School race with 2 Divisions: Large School and Small School. From the one
race,   we will produce results for a small school race (1A/2A schools), large school race (3A/4A
                   schools) and a combined result. Team awards will be: Large school champion, Small school
champion, Combined Runner-Up, Combined 3rd place. Shirts will be given to the top-15 in the

                   combined race.

Fee:             $75 per team per gender for high school varsity and $120 per gender per team for collegiate races.
                    $20 per individual in any race.

Registration:         All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m., Monday, September 14 on http://directathletics.com.

Medical:             All unattached athletes must sign a waiver form before competition:

Parking:             There will be a $5 parking fee for all spectators.
