decided to cancel the Tommy Lovett Sr. Invitational as there is too much uncertainty with the cross country season and fall sports in general.
The invitational was named in memory of the late Mr. Tommy Lovett Sr., who passed away this past spring, and has left a legacy full of many wonderful accomplishments, particularly in helping sports grow within Highlands County.
WE WILL ACCEPT THE FIRST 12 TEAMS TO RESPOND.
VENUE:
The 5k course is located at the Highlands County Sports Complex.
Address of location: 216 Sheriffs Tower Rd, Sebring, FL 33870
The course is 1.55 mile loop done twice on grass and dirt with a little bit of pavement. It is mostly flat with one small hill, with open space making it spectator friendly.
FEES:
$100 for both teams
$60 per gender

AWARDs:
Top 2 Varsity Teams will receive trophies
Top 10 Varsity Runners will receive medals
Top 5 JV runners will receive ribbons
