Meet Information

Entries due Wednesday, August 29th, 11:59 p.m. Thank you!

Please note: The following information is if things were to proceed as normal. However, we are evaluating daily how to best do this meet with COVID-19 and are listening daily to the guidelines being put in place by both the FHSAA and CDC. We will keep everybody up to date on how we will format the meet or if we have to postpone the meet for safety reasons. We hope youll join us. Stay safe!

The course is 50% asphalt and 50% grass. There are quite a few hills and it is viewer friendly. It is a challenge, but a great run. Only 8 runners per team are allowed in each Varsity race. All other runners will run in the JV races. Look forward to seeing you August 29th. Please read the information below:



Timing
-

There will be automatic timing by Dan Epstein and Athletic Scoring Providers. After the meet, there will be printed results and the results will be uploaded to Flrunners.com



Parking




Buses will park in the field next to the gym and all cars will be directed into various parking lots by meet volunteers.



Tents

Tents will be setup on the hill next to the stadium and right inside the track gate.



Schedule


Course Opens for Warm-ups at 6:30

Check in: 6:30

Coaches meeting: 7:15

5K Varsity Girls: 8:00

5K Varsity Boys: 8:35

5K Girls Open (For all other runners not in varsity race- JV or MS): 9:05

5K Boys Open (For all other runners not in varsity race- JV or MS): 9:45

3K Boys/Girls Combined Open Middle School & High School: 10:20

Awards at 10:45



Awards

There will be medals given to the top 10 individuals in each of the varsity races & there will be ribbons given to both the top 10 boys and top 10 girls in the JV/MS races.

There will be a first place and runner up trophy given to the 1st and 2nd place schools in both the Varsity races.

Refunds


No refunds should be necessary because we want all checks brought to the meet.

$50.00 per HS Gender or $100.00 for both

JV included in HS Fee

$25.00 per MS Gender or $50.00 for both

Please make checks out to Mount Dora Christian Academy & PLEASE JUST BRING ALL CHECKS THE DAY OF THE MEET. With so many uncertainties this season, on the off chance that we have to cancel or postpone, we dont want to have to return a number of checks. Please just bring them the day of the meet.
