Melbourne High School Brevard Mid-County Invitational (10/3/20)

Venue: Max Rhodes Regional Park, 3410 Flanagan Ave. West Melbourne FL 32904

COACHES / TEAMS: This meet is limited to the designated South Brevard County schools only.

Course is TRUE CROSS COUNTRY STYLE

Trophies for 1st place varsity Boy and Girl. Ribbons for Varsity places 2-10. Ribbons for JV places 1-10

Awards will be handed out by Coach Clary 15 minutes after the final race.

This is a two loop course. Map attached.

FEES:

Entry Fee: $100.00 per school (Boys and Girls) or $50.00 for any individual Girls or Boys team.



Pay on the day of the meet.

Contact Renee Clary for teams with less than a total (boys and girls) of 10 runners. No parking or fan fee.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Race director asks that all coaches, family and fans wear masks at all times. Only Coaches and athletes permitted under your team tent. Please keep appropriate distances around tents and with other teams tents.

Coaches to follow BPS guidelines for participation including temp checks of all athletes upon arrival and ensure athletes wear masks anytime they are not warming up, competing or cooling down, or directly inside team tent. They do not need to wear a mask to the start line.

Coaches and Athletes will not congregate near the start line. All teams should remain in the run-out space on the course until called by the race director to the start line no more than 5 minutes before the race begins. There will be 2 runners in the starting block and teams will start from every other block. All additional runners will be appropriately spaced behind the blocks. Blocks are first come first serve.

There will not be water at the finish line area. There will be water and ice for emergencies only.

Athletes and coaches must oversee having water at their team camps.

There will be a volunteer trainer on site. They will not engage with an athlete unless it is an emergency. If an athlete is in distress coaches and/or parents must assist. Trainer is there for emergencies only.
