Meet Information

Welcome to the Manatee XC Quad Meet!

LOCATION:  GT Bray Park, 5502 33rd Ave Dr W, Bradenton, FL 34209 (enter parking lot from 51st St W at 33rd Ave Dr W)

* NEW COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS PER MANATEE COUNTY GOVERNMENT PARKS & NATURAL RESOURCES *

1. Four schools per race with maximum of 10 runners per team per gender per race plus one coach per team and the starter allowed near the starting line. This will result in a maximum of 45 people near the starting area at one time.

2. Only 4 teams per race to allow for extreme physical distancing (more than 6 feet) between teams at the starting line. Within each teams starting box, dots will mark 6 foot physical distancing within the teams.

3. No one allowed to be at the starting line until 5 minutes prior to start time.

4. Only athletes in each race and one coach per team will be allowed at the starting line.

5. Race times: 7:45 a.m. Red Girls, 8:15 a.m. Red Boys, 8:45 a.m. Blue Girls, 9:15 a.m. Blue Boys. We have 30 minutes in between races to avoid two-way traffic on the trails.

6. No instructions from official at starting line.

7. Start and finish line areas are off limits to spectators.

8. No coaches meeting. All instructions emailed in advance.

9. All teams must leave finish line area immediately upon finishing.

10. Each race (Red Girls, Red Boys, etc.) must leave park upon completion of each race (Red Girls must leave park upon completion of their 7:45 a.m. race and may not stay to cheer or spectate and so on).

11. Everyone not running will be required to wear a mask. All course marshals/volunteers will wear face masks.

12. Team camps must be spread out at least 10 feet away from each other behind the amphitheater on the grass or one team per pavilion and each team is required to maintain 6 feet of physical distance within their own team.

13. Finish line chute will be extended and area around finish line will be taped off to eliminate spectator areas.

14. Each team must provide all their own water and any other refreshments their athletes require.

15. There is no race day registration. One coach per team picks up team packet.

16. There are no water stops on the course.

17. Participants must wear masks anytime they are not running.

18. No after party, refreshments, or awards ceremony. One coach from each team will pick up awards.

20. Results will be posted online.

PARKING:  Enter the park from 51st St W and park in the main entrance parking lots in between the soccer fields on 33rd Ave Dr W.  The new starting line is near the restrooms by the soccer fields.

BUS PARKING:  Colonial Baptist Church, 2616 51st St W, Bradenton, FL 34209 or in the main entrance at GT Bray Park at 51st St W & 33rd Ave Dr W. There will be no bus parking or drop offs or turning around in the small 51st Street Park dog park/amphitheater/finish area parking lot entrance.

SCHEDULE:

10 RUNNERS MAX. PER TEAM PER GENDER.

7:45 a.m. - Red Girls - Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, ODA, Palmetto
8:15 a.m. - Red Boys - Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, ODA, Palmetto
8:45 a.m. - Blue Girls - Bayshore, BCS, Sarasota Christian, Sarasota Classical
9:15 a.m. - Blue Boys - Bayshore, BCS, Sarasota Christian, Sarasota Classical



AWARDS:
-Top 10 individuals in each race receive a medal and top 10 finisher t-shirt.
-Trophies to team winners in each race.

NO AWARDS CEREMONY.  Coaches, please pick up your awards as you exit the park.  Medals will be mailed if not picked up by the coach.  Trophies will not be mailed if not picked up.


TEAM AREA:

Please print your own copies of the 5K course map.  We provide only one copy per team.

The course consists of grass, trails, and sidewalk. The new starting line is on the north soccer fields right by the larger restrooms on 33rd Ave Dr W (in between soccer fields).



ENTRY FEE:

$210 per school for both genders or $130 for one gender.
