CANCELED DUE TO IAN IMPACT. please read 8th FLYRA Nature Coast 2022

Sumterville, FL

Meet Information

Coaches,

Due to the impact of Hurricane Ian, the venue will not be ready. The venue is an actual working rock mine; they are involved with sending rock, etc to SW Florida and helping power companies, etc. Thus, there was a concern  they would not be able to get the venue ready for XC ready on time. Now, seeing the devastation in SW Florida across central Florida, they simply do not have time with all they are doing for damaged parts of Florida.  We all now know it will take much for our fellow citizens.  We looked for another venue; we could not find one.

Saying that, next season if you have a venue and would like to host a middle school meet or two, please reach out to us. We will help you set it up, etc.  We would like to see more middle school and elementary meets on their own accord.  Just email us at athleticsscoringservices@gmail.com.  Just would need to be decided by May 1 so can have time to advertise.

We will be back next year with this meet barring any late season storms.  We do apologize for any inconvenience but this is beyond all our control.  We did try to find somewhere else.  Just no positive responses.  Stay safe for all of your and yours.
