No Dogs allowed except service dogs. Please tell parents. In 2022 a "pet dog" got loose during a championship race and tripped a leading runner, thus ending his middle school career with a fractured arm...LEAVE pets at home.

Packet Pick up: at the BIG TENT, can be picked up anytime before races. The races are Chipped timed with Bibs. The chip is on the BIB and does not need to be returned.

Friday COURSE PREVIEW from 1pm to 6pm, Please be aware of elementary races running from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and are on parts of the 3k course. Please step aside AND CHEER on the little kids.
3:00 PM Packet Pick Up Opens. All Friday and Saturday races may pick up.

What Middle School championship division do I register for? for Teams & Unattached.
Middle School Championship Divisions are broken down by the type of school. Charter school, private school, public school OR Club (non school)
Unattached athletes? enter the division based on the type of school the individual attends. Charter, Public, Private. Unattached do not have to represent their school. Just be in the correct division. There should be no unattached athletes in the club division.
What about a homeschooler? if a homeschooler is unattached(not with a team) then they will enter into the Private Division. If a homeschooler is on a school or club team. Charter, Private, Public or Club then they will follow the team into the Charter, Private, Public or Club. If a team is made up of all homeschoolers and has raced together all season, they will enter in the Private Division.
Can I have a 5th grader race in Elementary & Middle School races? No, only 1 race.

Every 11 years, FLYRA XC falls on Halloween weekend, Since it's only happened once before, let us, Coach's, Teams and Parents, have some fun with the FLYRA elementary kids on Friday, Oct 31st.
XC Community Tent or Treat.Each Elementary Finisher will get a FLYRA FINISHER Bag as they exit the chute. As those cute little kids make their way back to the Team Tent area, we need you, the xc neighborhood to set out your camp chairs like you do in your own neighborhood and drop goodies into their new finisher bags. TENT or TREAT...starts when the 1k kids finish, 4:40pm to 5:30pm.
Just like a neighborhood, participation is up to you.
For the big kids, we will have a #pumpkinpatch warmup trail. See attached trail map
Come in costumes and hang some decorations.
