ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of South Florida women's cross country team finished 19th at the Disney Invitational out of a total of 30 teams Saturday morning at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

With USF's top runners taking the week off, the meet allowed the Bulls' 'B' runners the opportunity to get some experience under their belts as the team prepares for the BIG EAST Championships in three weeks.

Sophomore Kristi DeGraw-Higgins was the top finisher for the Bulls in the 5k race, coming in 77th place out of a total of 279 runners in a time of 21:14.40. She was followed by junior Meagan Smithyman, who ran a time of 21:43.20 for 101st place.

Freshman Caroline Northup crossed the finish line next for the Bulls in a time of 21:55.70 to come in 106th, while junior Leandra Mikos came in 117th with a time of 22:16.00. Rounding out the top 5 for the Bulls was freshman Emma Weaver, who used a time of 22:52.20 to place in 134th.
