TAMPA – The University of South Florida Athletics Department continues a community outreach program entitled Bulls Pen Pals, which is connecting local youth directly to student-athletes.

Sixty students from B.T. Washington Elementary School have been paired with 60 student-athletes in a weekly pen pal program.

Each week, GoUSFBulls.com will feature a Pen Pal of the Week and the response from the Bulls player.

This program was made possible through a gift from the Verizon Foundation.

This selection as Pen Pal of the Week comes from Trinity to Bulls track athlete Kayla Richmond.
