Full USTFCCCA Release

TAMPA
- For the fourth year in a row, the University of South Florida women's track and field team was named All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced Wednesday.

USF was one of 151 schools across the country to earn the honor for having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. The Bulls were also one of 12 BIG EAST teams along with DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Rutgers, St. John's, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, Villanova, and West Virginia.

More than 300 schools nationwide support women's track and field.

In addition, USF was one of four Florida schools to earn all-academic status, including Florida State, Miami and Jacksonville.

The honor follows up the individual all-academic awards that were handed out last the week. Senior Yvana Hepburn, juniors Dana Webb and Stephanie Duffy and sophomores Nicole Rozario, Casey Wagner and Lauren Noe were named to the 2010 Division I All-Academic Track and Field team last Wednesday.
