After winning the NCAA Championship 100 meter dash last month at Hayward Field, Trayvon Bromell returned to the historic University of Oregon track for USA Juniors. The performance wasn't quite the 9.97 he put up to win his first title as a Baylor freshman, but his 10.07 was good enough for the win and a spot on team USA at the World Junior Championships next week. Bromell, one of the favorites to bring home gold will be blogging throughout his journey over the next week.
Note: We will have a feature story on Trayvon and fellow St. Pete native, Baylor freshman, and teammate T.J. Holmes.

Just arrived at Waco airport. Patiently waiting for the plane so I can fly to Dallas. Too bored right now. I'm ready to get to Dallas and get some food!
3:00 p.m. ET
After a two hour delay we are just now landing in Dallas. I am starving. I've been waiting since 10 and its 2:00 central time. Now I have another delay before I head to Oregon! The stress.
6:30 p.m. ET
So after the two hour delay, I find myself having to run 22 gates to gate 8 when they said we weren't at gate 30 anymore! So yes, I just ran a great 400 and now my legs hurt.. Oh my goodness this trip to Eugene !
9:35 p.m. ET
Finally landed in Portland waiting to get to our gate, but there is another plane in our spot.
10:30 p.m. ET
How much more do I have to wait? Walking to baggage claim. On the road heading to Eugene. It has been a long day of traveling.
