The Alligator Lake Invitational will consist of a High School, Middle School, Elementary and Open 5k Run. The High school 5k will have A boys and A girls Varsity Invite & Open, as well as a JV race Varsity races are allowed to run 10 athletes. The middle school will have a boys and girls 3k race and will be a qualifier for the middle school state meet. We will have a combined elementary run as well as the combined community 5k run. If we do not have 30 Varsity teams then we will condense the Invite & Open into one event and change the time schedule. If this happens we will change the time schedule on flrunners.com and halfmiletiming.com. Coaches please let your parents know that there are NO PETS allowed in the park. Any dogs brought into the park will have to remain in a vehicle.
This meet will be sanctioned for Georgia and any other states that will be attending. If any other states are attending please let me know so we can submit the sanctions.

Pick-Up
Packet pick up will start when the course opens Friday at 2 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. It will open again Saturday morning at 6:30a.m. Coaches must pay by mail to Half-Mile Timing or have checks in hand to pick up their packets (check is in the mail does not count). DO NOT SEND CHECKS TO COLUMBIA HIGH SCHOOL! Coaches please make sure you get your packets 30 minutes before your race to ensure enough time to get the timing chips signed out and onto your runners shoes.
Online Entry
Registration will be on www.flrunners.com. Registration will end Wednesday the 19th at midnight. High School & Middle School coaches please enter your entire roster not just your Varsity runners. There will be no day of entry! All Mile & Community 5k runners sign up the day of.
Timing
HMT will be using the Ipico/ Finishlynx triad chip timing system. There will be mile marker clocks as well as instant results scrolling on the finish line display board. The mile & open 5k will not be chipped timed. Chipped timed race results will be at www.halfmiletiming.com

Individual Awards
HS Varsity top 10 receive medals
11-50 ribbons.
HS JV top 3 medals 4-25 ribbons

Mile top 3 Boys & Girls receive medals all other participants will receive a ribbon.
Community open 5k run top 3 male and female overall will get medals.
Course
The course is 90% in the shade on nice grass trails around the beautiful Alligator Lake Park. The High School and community run is a small 2k loop followed by a 3k loop. The Middle School course is one 3k loop. The course will be marked with mile markers as well as kilometer markers. The Course has been the host site of the Alligator Lake run 2008-present, Greater North Florida (Columbia High School) 08,09, 2009 FHSAA 3A District 2, FHSAA Region 1 1A, 2A & 3A.
