USF/George M.Steinbrenner Track and Field Invitational

Entry is by invitation only-- Password will be sent for online entry upon receipt of payment to Steinbrenner High School

Team entry fees are $100 for girls and $100 for boys.

Individuals are $25 and must be entered online by your High School Coach.

Join us for one of the top meets in Florida! Experience The University of South Florida's incredible track and field facility, Half-Mile Timing, over two dozen Certified officials and multiple USF Athletic Trainers.

Team trophies for 1st and 2nd place.

Individual and Relays Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and ribbons for 4th - 8th. All medals and ribbons for each event will be available after results are finalized. Athletes/coaches must report to the Awards tent to claim their medal/ribbon.

Team Champion and Team Runner-up Trophies will be presented at the conclusion of the meet.

Our visiting coaches will be treated to breakfast and lunch.

Two entries per gender per individual event and one entry in each relay.

The Games Committee will consider a third individual entry for your team if he/she is among the elites in that event.

Throws and Jumps --36 athletes and Top 9 to finals!

Our spring break will be March 9-13. I will not have access to checks sent to the school during spring break so please make sure your entry fees are received on or before Monday, March 16, 2015. Passwords will be issued upon receiving entry fees.

Coaches! Please check Half Mile Timing, Flrunners and your email to get seeding information. Only the Top 36 Verified entries in the Shot put, the Discus, the Long Jump and the Triple Jump will compete.

Coaches, also check to see if your athletes are racing in the 3:00pm Elite Finals Section 1 Distance races or the 9:30 am Section 2 Races. All other Distance runners can/must run the Open 1600 m beginning at 8:10 am.

7:30 am Gates Open and Packet Pick up (Coaches get entry wrist bands and lunch tickets)

8:00 am Coaches Meeting & Breakfast. Tent near Equipment building (Coaches w/ wrist bands)

8:10 am 9:00 am 1600 meter OPEN RACES! MUST register to run the 1600 Open: 3 Divisions to enter are Open, Varsity and Adaptive. (The Open 1600 race is for your athletes that did not get entered as your top two in the distance events) These open races are not FAT.

ALSO !!! ANY Athlete that does NOT make the 3:00pm Elite Section 1 or morning Section 2 Finals in the 1600 & 800 & 3200 can/must run in these open races!

We will have Multiple 1600 Open races from 8:10 am to 9:00am

9:00 am Running Events:

*4 x 800 Relay Finals: Girls followed by boys

9:30 am*3200 meters:Section 2 One heat G/B: Athletes 21*- 48 that did not qualify for the 3:00pm finals

(Top 20 -24 Qualifiers will run the afternoon Elite finals)

*800 meters: Section 3 & 4 Two heats Girls Two heats Boys: Athletes 33-64 that did not qualify for the 3:00pm finals Top 32 (two heats) will run the Afternoon Elite finals

*1600 meters: Section 2 One heat G/B: Athletes 21* - 48 Runners that did not qualify for the 3:00pm finals(Top 20 -24 Qualifiers will run the Afternoon Elite finals)

*Girls Long Jump: Top 36 entries: Three flights of 12 Top 9 to Finals *Boys Long Jump: Top 36 entries: Three flights of 12 Top 9 to finals.

*Girls Shot Put: Top 36 entries: Three flights of 12 Top 9 to finals.

*Boys Discus: Top 36 entries: Three flights of 12 Top 9 to finals.

*Girls Pole Vault: Opening Height 7'6" Need verifiable entry mark

*Boys Pole Vault: Opening Height 106

Need verifiable entry mark

*Girls High Jump: Opening height 46 Need verifiable entry mark

*Boys High Jump: Opening height 5'8" Need verifiable entry mark

11:00 am (or ASAP After 9:00 am Field events are completed)

11:00 am Running Prelims:

100/110 Hurdles Top 8 times advance to finals

100 meters Top 8 times advance to finals

4 x 100 meter Relay Top 8 times advance to finals

400 meters Top 8 times advance to finals

300 meter Hurdles Top 8 times advance to finals

200 meters Top 8 times advance to finals

Noon to 1:30 pm Lunch (Please bring your lunch ticket to the tent)

3:00 pm Running Finals:

*100/110 Hurdles Top 8 times from Prelims

*100 Meters Top 8 times from Prelims

*1600 Meters Section 1 Elite race (One heat Top entries) -- Section 2 will run in the morning

*4 x 100 Relay Top 8 times from Prelims

*400 Meters Top 8 times from Prelims

*300 Meters Top 8 times from Prelims

*800 Meters Sections 1 & 2 Elite races (Two heats Top 32 Entries) Sections 3 & 4 will run in the morning

*200 Meters Top 8 times from Prelims

*3200 Meters Section 1 Elite race (One heat Top entries) Section 2 will run in the morning

*4 x 400 Relay (3 turn stagger) (Slow to Fast heats)
