About Our Team
Armwood first opened its doors in 1984. There have been some amazing athletes that have participated on the courts, fields, and track of Armwood HS. Tina Luke was a State Champion in the 100 1996, Willonda Windham was State Runner-up in Discus in 2005, and Torey Davis was State Runner-up in Discus in 2007. The Armwood Track program has continued to grow over the years. In 2009, the Boys track team broke 10 School records and the Girls track team broke 2 records. The 1600 Relay who consisted of Khiry McQuay, Richard Jules, Treyon Hankerson, and Markais Neal ran a 3:18.6 which was 1st Team All-US.
