WATCH: Winter Park's Breske, Skage Soar To Pole Vault State Leaders

For the second time in three days, Winter Park pole vaulters Nicole Breske and Greg Skage posted new personal best and state leading vaults at the Bob Mosher Wildcat Open.

Breske, a senior, was third at the 4A state finals in 2015 and came into the season with a top mark of 11'7.75". On Saturday, she jumped 11'9 to win the Lake Mary All-Comers Meet. Monday morning she cleared a personal best and meet record 12'1, improving by FOUR inches!

Skage, a junior, was second at the 4A state meet behind training partner Sean Clarke of Lyman. Clarke, an University of Pennsylvania signee pushed Skage to an one foot personal best of 15'6 at last week's Lake Mary All-Comers Meet. In front of his home fans at the Bob Mosher Wildcat Open three days later, he bested that mark another three inches clearing 15'9" and inching closer to the 16 foot mark.
