Northeast HS alumnus and LSU hurdle star, Damion Thomas, is undefeated this indoor season with back-to-back wins in the 60m hurdles at the UAB Vulcan Invite and Texas Tech open this past weekend. Thomas' 7.66 indoor season best earns him the number one spot in the 60m hurdles for Florida alumni.
Thomas had a terrific outdoor season for LSU last year, finishing third in the 110m hurdles at the NCAA DI Championships in a time of 13.45, third at SEC championships in 13.64, and winning the Texas Relays and Miami Invitational 110m hurdles.
Last indoor season, Thomas saw a top-ten finish in the 60m hurdles at nationals and a top-three performance at SEC -- an outstanding first year for the now LSU sophomore.
