After treating the Cecil Field Summer Classic the week prior as a glorified tempo run, the Bolles girls really showed their potential on Saturday at the Florida Horse Park Invitational winning the varsity girls team title by 23 points with their score of 97 ahead of last year's 4A state runners-up Braddock (2nd, 120 pts) and 26 points last year's 2A state runners-up Episcopal (3rd, 123 pts). Sofia Stam, a seventh grader, led their squad with a fourth place finish of 19:23 and their remaining top 5 included no seniors finishing all under 20:40 and among the top 30 places.
